Mail Call : Made In Hong Kong VHS Frenzy

After this post, which began my Made In Hong Kong collection series, I mentioned on facebook that I'd just bought 18 tapes from someone and they arrived today. It was 17 really but the extra one was included that was missing from a previous purchase.

I will be scanning all of the covers and liner notes to leave a record of the companies output as and when I pick the tapes up. If you have any M.I.H.K tapes to donate then please feel free to contact me.

For some reason I don't think I've ever got around to seeing City War, so I'll be sure to give that tape a watch first.

Fantastic stuff, I love pics of old tapes, I look forward to the follow up posts... Question, Mart - were many of these tapes scissored by the BBFC ? I remember they were most reluctant to pass Bullet In the Head...

Thanks Wes, Yeah me too, makes me regret letting them go, and while I won't be paying silly money I think it's a nice idea to settle on one label and just pick those up as and when. MIHK meant a lot to me back in their day and I was foolish to let them go.

Quite a few suffered cuts, but one or two are the only uncut versions available such as the awesome Pedicab Driver I already posted about.
