Today A Hero never dies received it's first (and probably only) award, The prestigious Liebster blog award. Thanks to Aaron and his excellent The Death Rattle website. I'd like to extend a huge, warm and most importantly manly hug to Aaron for considering this blog as being a worthy recipient of the honour.
Being a responsible holder of the award, as part of my duty I need to pass it on to five other blogs I consider to be worthy, these recipients have to have less than 200 followers in order to qualify. I chose based on blogs I enjoy reading obviously, but also bloggers who have encouraged or inspired me the most throughout my time as a blogger.
And the winners in no particular order are :
Bullets over Chinatown Kingwho? was my first ever follower and I will always be grateful to him for the encouragement he gave me and the copious dubious mental images he has expanded my mind with! The Bullets over Chinatown blog is a great read, particularly for fans of Category III cinema.
Plutonium Shores Wes' blog is a fantastic read, covering an excellent and eclectic range of topics and is highly recommended. Wes has always been incredibly encouraging and is someone I really consider a friend.
Hong Kong Rewind Mike's site is more than just a blog, the writing is of a quality I can only dream of. A real inspiration to me, I've been reading Mike's writing since the days of Eastern Heroes magazine. Another blogger I consider a friend.
The Milky Way Wonderland I love Dr. Lamb's drawings, they give a unique feel to this excellent blog. He also has great taste in movies! and has almost inspired me to pick up my old pencils again, almost! Check out this one drawn for me.
Achillesgirl in Action land My second ever follower, Achillesgirl has offered me not only encouragement but also inspiration and genuinely entertaining and informative blog posts with a unique perspective on Asian cinema.
That's it, five more winners of the Liebster blog award, I trust you all know what to do next!
